2007 News:
Christmas
came, I jumped for joy when I saw the presents under the tree. Daddy made
sure to tell me that it was Jesus's birthday and that's why we celebrate, but
I'd rather think about my OWN birthday coming up next month! Grandma and
Grandpa Soper are coming! YAYYY!! Oh and I got a tool set and a train set
and a musical Snoopy and teddies and books that I made Mommy read to me already
and a puzzle! I had so much fun I slept for 11 hours Christmas night.
Moving! We're moving! Mommy and Daddy are packing us up and taking
me and the cats to Harleysville after Christmas! I hope it's nice
there...
Well, someone let the cat out of the bag and now I know what Christmas
is. Well, okay, I have an idea. I know it involves presents.
That's good enough for me! Mommy and Daddy keep telling me there's more
to it than that but I'm kind of stuck on the pretty lights. Oh, and
Thanksgiving is next week and Mommy promises turkey! YUM! Be sure
to look in the October Gallery since Mom added some Halloween pumpkin pictures,
and some pictures of me in a new sweater for November!
I'm really wanting my birthday to come! I'm so tired of going to everyone
else's birthday! I want a purple cake and purple balloons! I've
been sensitive to sugar lately so no ice cream or sweets. Mommy says it
makes me "melt down", whatever that means. Oh, new
pictures! Go look!
Went to my friend Gage's birthday party, and Mommy's birthday dinner.
I've been pretty good this month but I seem to leave my listening ears at home
sometimes when I go to school...
Updated gallery! Check out me at the zoo with Auntie Jane, at Dorney Park
with my babysitter Stephanie and her boyfriend, and at my girlfriend Brooke's
3rd birthday!
So much to do this month...Grandpa Price was here, and I just loved him!
Tomorrow we go to Dorney Park with my babysitter Stephanie and Mommy and Daddy
will take LOTS of pictures, then next week Auntie Jane come and we go to the
zoo YAY! Stay tuned! Oh, and Susie, you really made Mommy
laugh with all your comments!
Went swimming for the first time on 070707! We were at a neighbors party,
Jay and Erin, and they let me go in the pool. I did so good, I didn't
mind going underwater and I was yelling whee whee the whole time.
Boy do I work hard on the alphabet. I can get almost all of it now and I
ask Mommy to sing it for me and sing along with her. LMNOP is still kind
of tough though.
I got to go on a pony ride! A real pony! Check the gallery. Oh,
boy, are chocolate bunnies good! I shared though.
Well I went and did it. I was playing on the bed and decided to jump
off. It looked so easy! Mom tried to grab me, Dad was under the
covers and couldn't reach me and BOOM I hit the corner of the chest. BOY
did I yell! Take a look in the gallery to see my owchie.
Well, today, Feb. 18th, I learned to get out of my crib. It was
easy! I don't know why Mom and Dad suddenly got all cranky and took my
crib apart I was having FUN! But now I have to sleep on a low bed with no
sides and I'm not sure I like it. I've cried a few times but I'm sleeping
now.
Learning to color now, and potty training, and finding out what sitting in my
room for a few minutes feels like when I yell NO and make raspberries with my
tongue at Mommy and Daddy when they ask me to do something I don't want to.

2007 Responsibilites:
I
talk like a person now, unless I decide to talk fast and then it sounds like
I'm just making stuff up. I can count to 15 and know most of my letters
by sight. I ask to go pee half the time, but no way am I pooping on that
potty. Nope. Can't make me.
I'm really good at the alphabet and I'm learning new words every day. I
can jump with both feet and hop on one foot and I'm a good climber!
Counting still, adding, the alphabet, learning to brush my teeth on my own, and
still potty training. And still won't poop on the potty!
Adding a little bit, trying to ride the tricycle Grandmama and Grandpa Soper
bought me. And Mommy and Daddy bought me a little basketball hoop so I
can shoot baskets at home!
Counting, the alphabet, about ten new words a day, and playing with my Leapfrog
book - thanks Auntie Jennie and Uncle Eric.
Still singing the alphabet!
I'm much better at counting and learning my letters. I can recognize
about a third of them now.
I'm learning to count to 12. I can count if no one asks me but if you
want me to do it I won't. I know how many two is! And I'm using
three and four and sometimes even five words in a sentence! "No make
me go bed" is a popular one.
No update here, but I learn new words every day including ones Mommy and Daddy
try hard not to say.
Talking! And the alphabet! It's all I want to do is yack yack yack
and I'm trying to learn to sing the Alphabet Song. I can recognize O and
W and M and B already and I'm wanting to learn numbers; I know what 4 and 5 are
called now.
Well, I'm not working on potty training so much right now but I'm talking a
LOT. I can say some of my bedtime stories when Mom reads them and I can
say "sorry, more, yogurt, cup, I hurt, crap (this kind of upset Mommy I
don't know why she says it all the time), I want potty, yellow" and some
other stuff. I keep imitating Mommy and Daddy and it's fun!
Not going "ppppbbtttthtthtt" when I'm mad; not hitting; not throwing
temper tantrums when I'm expected to eat dinner BEFORE desert.

2007 Projects:
Playing "cook", wrestling with Daddy, playing in all the boxes as we
move.
Riding Bucky and playing pillows and coloring!
Puzzles, reading books, manipulating people into reading books to me, and
playing in the pillow pile.
Riding my tricycle (sort of), basketball, going to the park, helping Mommy.
Climbing, jumping, singing a lot...I can sing Row Row Row Your Boat and Twinkle
Twinkle Little Star
Swimming and going to the park to climb stuff.
Still counting, still learning the alphabet, also jumping with both feet and
learning to put on and take off my clothes. I will pee in the potty but
not poop nope can't make me.
Counting, the alphabet song, singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and playing
with my friends at school. I like Brooke and Gage and Lucas.
Coloring! But I play with the crayons more than use them. I know all the
signs in the baby sign language book so we're working on words, and colors, and
numbers, and please and thank you and you're welcome, and I'm getting much
better at fork and spoon.
I had ice cream the other day and I ate my whole little bowl with a spoon!
Learning to do more signs, learning at least 10 new words every day, learning
to color, learning to sleep in a big boy bed.
Potty training (for Mom), playing with all my new toys and learning several new
words a day (for me!).

2007 Personal Interests:
Anything
Mommy or Daddy are doing. I want to do what THEY do!
My babysitter brought a bunch of books on dinosaurs, oceans, bedtime, magical
worlds....Mommy reads one every night and I love them!
Doofendorfer Day (Dr. Seuss) and books in general, airplanes, and electronic
equipment I'm not supposed to play with.
New Grumpy Bunny book! Also Peggle, Mommy's favorite mindless computer
game.
Animals, animals, animals. And I need to hear the Grumpy Bunny every
night.
Mommy is showing me Silly Symphonies and stuff from Fantasia on Youtube.
I like the horsies.
I love watching Youtube when I'm not outside playing with my "bisbee"
and my kickaball. Mommy is showing me clips from Fantasia and Lion King
and I love them! And Sesame Street too!
I like Wierd Al Yankovic. No, really, every time Mommy is at the computer
I come up and go "nerny! nerny!" meaning Mom should flip to
YouTube and put on White and Nerdy by Wierd Al. And then Amish Paradise
because I like that one too.
Balloons. I love balloons.
Trying to "cook", trying to "type" (like Mommy and Daddy
do), and chasing the cats!
I'm learning sign language! Granny Folse gave Mom a book before I was
born even that had baby sign language in it and I love it. I call it the
Baby Book and I can do the signs for go, walk, happy, eat, sit, all done, more,
and phone and I can recognize a lot more! I wish Mom would stop making me
do it for people though I'm not a party trick.
Puppy, teddy, bunnie, and my favorite books; Good Night Little Bear, My First
Counting Book, Just Say Please, and The Wheels of the Bus Go Round and Round.
